SELECT THE RIGHT AGENT

When choosing an agent, it is highly important to make sure that you have an instant rapport with whom you decide to instruct. Your property is likely to be your biggest asset and you must feel comfortable with your agent as trust is everything.

There are a number of key points to take in to consideration when appointing your agent. Their high street and online presence and what kind of marketing your property will receive. These are critical to obtaining the maximum exposure and price for your property.

We feel it is important that all viewings are accompanied by the agent with constant feedback given at all times. You must ensure that an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is produced as this is a legal requirement. Morris & Joel can arrange this for you.

CHOOSING YOUR SOLICITOR

There are legal requirements associated with selling your home, including costs to consider. This process of transferring property from one owner to another is called conveyancing. It can be a complex and lengthy process, as such we would recommend you appoint a solicitor or licenced conveyancer to undertake this work.

You may already have someone in mind, or recommended to you. However we are also happy to recommend a lawyer to you.
